What is a Non-Invasive
Carboxytherapy Facial?
Clinicares Non-Invasive Carboxytherapy is a treatment during which a gas, carbon dioxide (CO2), is infused into the skin to encourage an increased flow of oxygen.
Carbon dioxide is a naturally occurring gas in the body and as such it can not cause any allergic or other unwanted reactions.

As we age there is less oxygen travelling to the dermis (live portion of the skin) due to the reduction in capillary activity. Cells are unable to regenerate and function correctly which results in less collagen and the skin loses elasticity.

By the age of 40 the oxygen levels in our skin have dropped by around 50% leading to ageing, dull, irritated skin which is prone to age spots.

What does the Non-Invasive Carboxytherapy Facial Involve?
After the correct preparation of your skin (cleanse, tone) an even layer of Carboxytherapy Gel is applied to your skin.
A Carboxytherapy Activator Face Mask is then pressed firmly onto the gel.
A specific amount of carbon dioxide is infused into the skin this is produced by the connection between the mask and the gel.
This is left for around 20-30 minutes then gently removed.
Within five minutes the carbon dioxide applied to your skin has been completely replaced by oxygen.
A low molecular weight hyaluronic acid lip and eye renewal cream is applied followed by a high SPF.

How does the treatment feel?
You may feel a tingling sensation for the first couple of minutes due to the release of oxygen.
